MARKETPLACE HEALTH INSURANCE

Individuals and families may qualify for health insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, also known as Healthcare.gov.

 

Open Enrollment Period (Nov 1 – Jan 15)

The Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment Period is the annual opportunity for individuals and families to enroll in or make changes to their Marketplace health insurance coverage.

Coverage options, enrollment dates, and eligibility requirements may change from year to year. Please visit Healthcare.gov or contact us for current enrollment information.

If you miss the Open Enrollment Period, you may still qualify for coverage through a Special Enrollment Period if you experience a qualifying life event.

 

Special Enrollment Period (Jan 16 – Oct 31)

You may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period ( if you’ve experienced certain life events, including:

Loss of health coverage

Change in household income

Moving

Marriage

Birth of a child

Adoption

Depending on the qualifying event, you may have 60 days before or after the event to enroll in coverage.
